Evil Tiger Says:Hi hi Taz! Nice pencil drawing, you did a good job with the
profile view of the face... :D If you want to learn shading, I suggest practice
drawing real objects. ^_^ Try putting an object under a lamp or some kind, so
there's only one light source, and draw the object. While drawing, observe the
shape of the object and its shading.
I think this drawing looks good as a line art.... :D don't you? Try to make your
lines cleaner next time. I always have trouble keeping my pencil lines clean, so I
first use a really light pencil to draw... something like a 2H pencil, and then go
over my lines with a darker pencil. If you have the same trouble, try that out!

Tiyonne Says: ooOOOoooo, nice bishyness you got going on here. I like the
moodiness of his eyebrows and long sweeping hair. Looks like you spend the most
time on the face (and completely understandable - it's the first thing people
notice), but next time i suggest spending a little more time on other details. For
instance, going back to the hair; it'd be nice to see some highlights and shadows.
Right now it's all the same type of color, shaded and filled in. You don't need
quite so many lines of the same weight to describe the hair; a few clean dark lines
will do to show the general shape, and lighter lines to show shadow. waht
direction does light come from? and don't forget a few pure white spaces as
highlights, where the light bounces of his pantene-pro healthy hair. For the rest
of the drawing, i'd love to see some of the lines cleaned up - the outline is
there (you draw the same way i do! =D) and the next step would be to go back with a
nice sharp pencil and made defined lines.
nicw work taz, keep submitting so we can see you develop! ^_^
