Keiiii Says: Ah! I love the feeling of this CG... Looks like they're on a trip and pausing for a moment to take a pic! Also it seems you paid attention to the sun; the light source shows, and I like how you added a hint of yellow around the highlight (although it's a bit less visible on the girl). But what happened to the line art? It's pixely... was it intentional? I prefer smooth lines... ^^ Hum. I just have a couple things to comment about the shading and its relation to light (wow, sounds so serious ^^;). Yellow light casts blueish-purplish shadow; this is something many artists, even the ones who are knowledgible about light and such stuff, choose to ignore sometimes, but since you chose to show the yellowness of the light on the highlights... ^^ The shaded skin won't be blue or purple, but it'll be less peach-ish than the part that's not shaded. Also, even though it's really matter of style, I personally like 3D feeling shadings on skin area... That kind of feeling can be achieved by doing lots and lots of shadings and highlightings (of course, they should be where they should be. ^_^). But judging from the pure black outfit of the boy (It's a boy, right? ^o^;), it seems that you went for the more artsy, flat kind of style. Just giving my opinion here - not necesarily critiqueing! ^^; Oog, and the highlights on the hair. Because the light source is on the right, the highlights on the hair should be lopsided onto the right*. And try to show that the sun is in the back, not in the front, like how you did in the highlightings on the skin area!** ^^

Juno Says: Hiii, Rain~! :D Wow, what a gorgeous pic~! Like Keiii mentioned before, I think the overall mood is beautifully executed.. the girl and guy look so..chic :D To answer your question about "inking," you already INKED your picture, technically. Inking is usually referred to the sharp, black(usually black) lines you draw over your pencil sketches, which you have on your picture. Though, like Keiii mentioned, people will probably comment on the visible pixels of your line art, though that's purely up to you. ^_^ Lessee.. I love the girl: her dress color is rich and beautiful. ^_^ The guy wearing black complements her nicely. Keiiii already touched on the hair, so that's all good :D Depending on what kind if "situation" these characters are in, poses can really pack that final punch to make your picture spectacular. The guy's pose, for example, seems a bit stiff, particularly the arm. Ask yourself questions like, "What are my characters doing?" and then, "what poses will show that they're doing that?" If they are indeed posing for a snapshot, then the poses they'd be in would be deliberately "posey," like smiling or making some cool snazzy pose or something. Anyway, other than that, you have a beautiful picture here. ^__^ I love how you textured the background too :D Great job~!! Keep it up!! Ciao for now~ :D

Kon Says: Hiiii!... I like the mood of this CG.. very sunny and peacefull. =) I too noticed the jaggy lines.. hmmmm.. it's too clean to be a scanned drawing.. unless a lot of time was spent on cleaning it up.. my guess is it must of been drawn on the computer?... If you did and it's on Photoshop, I would higly recommend turning on anti-alias when you draw the lines.. it'll give a much smoother and more blended lines... which I prefer more too.

His left hand is a bit confusing.. I'm not sure which side is the thumb.. ^^;;;; It looks about the same size and length on both side... I would make one of them a bit shorter and thicker to indicate that's where the thumb is...

Very nice work.. and I like the background.. =D
