Style: A little bit Shounen, more so Shoujo though. My style is influenced
mostly by Watsuki Hironobu (Rurouni Kenshin! Aaaah...Soujirou...*drool*
^_~),Okuda Hitoshi (the anime that got me started), and Urushihara Satoshi
(minus the nudity ^_^). I try to merge realistic and anime/manga styles, and
that's been augmented by my recent dabblings in realism. Emotional subjects
are usually one of my requirements and thus I prefer not to use grids and
blocking; "spontaneous" is the way I like it ^_~!
Experience: I've always loved drawing, though it wasn't really until '97
when I began to take drawing seriously (Tenchi Muyo anyone? ^_^). That was
also the time that I began drawing anime as well. Since then, I've developed
my own style and drawn just for the fun of it. I'm self taught, have never
taken any classes, and would prefer not to as artwork (imho) is something
that comes from the heart and not ~simply~ from instruction.
Strength: I'd like to think that I have a nice sense of line, and
colour/shading. Emotional composition is something I've always strived to
include within my pieces, and that aspect of my artwork is something I'm
relatively proud of.
Weakness: Aaaah...too many to name!^_^ But mostly I really wish I was brave
enough to pick up more mediums and styles. I have this dreadful fear that
I'll fail in something new...and I hate failure (I'm realistic enough to
know it's always waiting...waiting to get me somehow/somewhere! ^_^). In any
case, I also need to stop doing so much fan art and try my hand at more
original stuff....Ah...woe is me...if I don't stop now I never will!!! ^_~
