How To get started with CG

Welcome! Ever wonder how people clean up their sketches for inking, or maybe you want to get started with coloring on the computer? This tutorial will help you prepare a sketch for inking, and also covers an introductory totorial for coloring on the computer.

There are many ways to do this, but the method below is a classic, used by many beginning and veteran digital artists alike. Software/hardware used in this tutorial: flatbed scanner, Photoshop (5.0 and up). Please note: actual inking techniques are covered in a separate tutorial.
